Richard Wright is a member of NADDA who operates his own retail shop in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 45 minutes west of Philadelphia.  Richard’s shop offers a complete selection of dolls of all prices and types from the 18th through the mid-20th century, including antique French and German bisque dolls, Chinas, early wooden, parians, papier-mâché's and wax dolls.  Also featured are doll accessories, pin-cushion dolls, bathing beauties, teddy bears and toys.  In addition to dolls and toys, the shop also offers a wide variety of general antiques such as furniture, porcelain, glassware, paintings, folk art and statuary.

Richard has bought and sold dolls and antiques for more than 35 years. He buys in all price ranges: collections and entire households as well as single items. Last year, in addition to buying in Pennsylvania, Richard purchased dolls from collectors throughout the United States, including Maryland, Florida, California, Ohio, New Jersey, Louisiana, New York and Tennessee.  His purchase of general antiques has also been nation-wide.

Throughout the year, Richard participates in many shows in a variety of locations: NADDA and UFDC doll shows, Gaithersburg MD Doll & Toy Show, doll shows in California and Florida and antique shows in Atlantic City, Florida and California. For seven years Richard has participated as a guest appraiser of dolls and bears on Public Television’s “Antiques Road Show.”
