In addition to the annual NADDA Doll Shows, you can find NADDA dealers at almost any doll show in the country. Look for dealers who display the NADDA logo in their booth and buy with confidence. Midwest NADDA Show This will be the first NADDA show in the midwest for many years and it will prove to be a spectacular event with NADDA member dealers from all over the USA ( and several international dealers as well) bringing the finest and rarest antique and collectible dolls ( at least forty years old) as well as superior examples of modestly priced dolls and accessories too. The organization has reserved the entire fourth floor of the hotel for the event and each dealer will have his own "shop" contained in the front sitting area of his/her hotel suite. This format will hopefully provide a more relaxed and personal approach for collectors to take their time and examine dolls at their leisure and talk with the dealers about any questions they may have. In addition to the sale well known collector Louise Hedrich will have an impressive display of her Bleuette dolls, clothing, and accessories on view. Author and collector Barbara Hilliker will also be present to autograph her book, "Bleuette and Her Wardrobe" and both she and Louise will be happy to share their knowledge of "Bleuette" with anyone who has interest. A special rate of $99.00 plus tax per night will be available from the hotel for anyone wishing to spend one or more nights. It is best to reserve your room thirty days in advance of arrival to ensure receiving this special discounted rate. Mention " NADDA (doll show)" when making the reservation. Come and spend the weekend and make it the special doll weekend event it is sure to be. Even if you do not buy a doll, it is always nice to share the camaraderie of others interested in the same hobby! Admission is $6.00 - but you can save $1.00 with the flyer! This will celebrate the 17th year of our annual East Coast Fall Show and this year's show will be hopefully better than ever. Unlike the other two NADDA shows this venue will be in the hotel ballroom with each dealer having his/her own display therein. Exact show hours and theme of the special exhibit are yet to be announced, but please mark these dates on your calendar so as not to miss out on this special event. NADDA has been hosting two doll shows each year, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. This year, we are excited to announce that we are adding a Central doll show in Chicago, Illinois. NADDA dealers from around the world come to exhibit their dolls and offer them for sale. In conjunction with each show, NADDA organizes a traveling museum of rare dolls and an informative lecture, both of which are free with admission. The opportunity to see, learn about, and buy fine antique dolls from reputable NADDA dealers makes the NADDA shows worth attending!
